For the major sectors of the manufacturing industry, there was an increase in the third quarter of 2011 compared with the same quarter in 2010, including the food, beverage and tobacco products industry (+5.7%), and the reproduction of paper products, printing and storage data media (+1.4%).
On the other hand, in the third quarter of 2011, compared with the same quarter in 2010, the decline in industries was metals, computers, electronics and optical products, machinery and equipment (-12.2%), garment industry (-11.8%), and textile industry (-11.2%).
