China's imports from Australia reached $12 million, unchanged from the same period last year.


It is predicted that the trade volume of textiles and clothing between the two countries is expected to reach US $4 billion 500 million this year.


According to the statistics of the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, in recent years, trade in textiles and clothing between China and Australia has increased rapidly.

In the past 10 years, bilateral trade volume has been less than 1 billion 150 million in 2001.

The rapid rise to US $3 billion 790 million in 2010 has increased 2.3 times, with an average annual growth rate of 12.7%.


At present, Australia is China's tenth largest textile and garment trading partner, and China's ninth largest export market.

Textiles and clothing account for 4% of the bilateral trade volume between the two countries.
