The Chinese Academy of social sciences has recently released the 2011 report on China's corporate social responsibility (Blue Book).

(China) Co., Ltd. entered the list of "2011 China brand ten major news events" with the "reciprocal" of social responsibility.


According to the CSR Report of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2011, the evaluation index refers to the international corporate social responsibility index system, the domestic corporate social responsibility proposal and the social responsibility assessment system of the world's top 500 enterprises.

According to the stage characteristics of CSR development, the research group divides the enterprise into five categories: the outstanding, the leader, the pursuer, the starters and the onlookers.

205 companies are spectators, accounting for nearly 70% of the total.

The so-called bystander is outsiders, these enterprises do not promote social responsibility management, social responsibility disclosure is very scarce, 26 enterprises score is 0 points or even negative.


Of these 26 enterprises, foreign enterprises accounted for a large number of 19.

Adidas, Daimler Chrysler, Coca-Cola and other foreign-funded enterprises in China are "on the list", of which Adidas (China) Co., Ltd. ranked the last in terms of -4 score.

Experts from the Academy of Social Sciences said that the information disclosure degree of the enterprise in corporate social responsibility development planning, anti commercial bribery system and measures, as well as environmental management and energy conservation, pollution reduction and emission reduction of enterprises is very insufficient.


Of the 19 foreign-funded enterprises including Adidas (China), 16 did not find any information about social responsibility, so the indicators were 0 points.

The negative result is that during the evaluation period, the enterprises have negative information about market responsibility and social responsibility.


Why do some large multinational companies suffer from negative information in China? Yin Fuqiang, the chief lawyer of the China elite network, said that this is related to the unsound legal system in China.

Our country's law restricts the effect of the enterprise, it has no deterrent to the enterprise, low illegal cost, and even causes some enterprises to make profits in violation of the law.


By the end of June 2011, Adidas had more than 6000 chain stores in China.
