Publication And Publication Of Li Nationality Costumes In Hainan

The costumes of Li nationality, one of the series of books on intangible cultural heritage, were published recently.

The book, with a total of 39 million words, has been written for over 1 years. It is another masterpiece of Li nationality dress after the Li nationality clothing map was released by Hainan Institute of nationalities. For the first time, Li's ornaments and their production techniques were systematically incorporated into the study of Li costumes.

The Li nationality costumes contain a wide range of contents, including the historical origins and basic characteristics of Li costumes, the clothing features and the basic production techniques of Li's five major dialects, the cultural art of Li costumes, the improvement and innovation of Li costumes, and the protection and inheritance of the costumes of Li nationality.

The book is composed of 39 words, which are divided into eight chapters: Li nationality dress, Li Nationality Women's clothing, Li nationality men's clothing, Li nationality's special costumes, Li nationality decorations and their production techniques.

The compilation of the book started in March 2012 and was written by researchers from the National Institute of nationalities in Hainan. After more than a year, it was typed and printed in July 2013.

The publication of "Li nationality costumes" has filled a gap in the systematic study of the costumes of Li nationality.
