2014 Shanghai International Textile Summer School Graduate Starts School In Our School.

< p > recently, sponsored by the Committee of < a href= "http://sjfzxm.com/news/index_s.asp" > /a >, the opening ceremony of the 2014 Shanghai international textile Postgraduate Summer School was held in Songjiang campus of Shanghai. There were over 190 guests from 22 colleges and universities, including experts, postgraduates and outstanding undergraduates.

Qiu Gao, vice president of our school, attended the opening ceremony. Shu Huisheng, director of the graduate student department, Wang Xinhou, Secretary General of the Party branch of Textile College, Guo Jiansheng and Xu Guangbiao, Vice Dean of textile school, attended the opening ceremony.

The ceremony was presided over by Chen Nanliang, Dean of the textile institute.

Qiu Gao declared that 2014 Shanghai international textile Postgraduate Summer School was officially opened. In his speech, he pointed out that Donghua University adheres to the aim of improving postgraduate's innovative ability and leading the frontier of textile science, and attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' international vision and strives to create an atmosphere of open school running.

As part of the "postgraduate education innovation program", Donghua University will strive to make the international textile Postgraduate Summer School a brand academic activity in line with international standards.

Qiu Gao expressed the hope that through the summer school's study, we should strengthen the scientific research in the textile field, promote the exchange and cooperation of graduate students, improve the quality of postgraduate training, consolidate the professional foundation, enhance the scientific research ability, lead the academic frontiers, and improve the comprehensive ability of Postgraduates in scientific research.

He said that the summer school was re approved after undertaking the summer school of the international textile discipline graduate student in 2012 and 2013.

For the first time, this summer school has brought a comprehensive academic exhibition to three trainees from overseas famous teachers, Donghua lecture hall and academic cultural exchange. It invited students from North Carolina State University, Texas State University, University of California and Kenya MOI university to teach for students. At the same time, invited more than ten distinguished professors from China, including academicians of Chinese Academy of engineering, Professor of "1000 person program", Shanghai outstanding academic leader and winner of "excellent green", to give lectures for summer schools.

P, teacher representative, Tushar Ghosh, Professor of North Carolina State University, and AZHAR SAYEDWAQAR, a student representative from Donghua University, said in her speech that participating in summer schools is conducive to widening academic horizons and learning and understanding the academic frontiers and latest research results in textile industry, which is conducive to improving the theoretical level and analyzing and solving problems, and also providing valuable opportunities for academic exchanges between teachers and students.

After the opening ceremony, Yu Jianyong, vice president of the Chinese Academy of engineering and vice president of Donghua University and Chen Nanliang, Dean of the Textile Institute, gave a wonderful keynote speech respectively.
