China International Home Textiles (Chun Xia) Exposition Opens Today

Today, it is co sponsored by the China Household Textile Industry Association, the textile industry branch of the China Council for the promotion of international trade and the Frankfurt Exhibition (Hongkong) Co., Ltd.

This year is the second session of the China International Household Textiles and accessories (Chun Xia) fair. The organizing committee's top executive said: "the first spring home textile exhibition last year was a new attempt.

This innovation has been unanimously recognized by the industry and enterprises.

The China International Home Textile (Chun Xia) Fair has filled the gap of the non professional home textile exhibition in spring and summer in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Following the successful launch of the first exhibition last year, this spring's home textile exhibition will be pferred from last year's Shanghai International Exhibition Center to the Shanghai Expo exhibition hall, and will be exhibited on 37000 square meters of two pavilions. One single exhibition hall is the largest unit in the exhibition hall, with an area of 25000 square meters, 14 meters high and the largest exhibition space without column in Asia.

This is not only a change from Puxi to Pudong, but also reflects the upgrading and expansion of the exhibition from scale, exhibits to services.

The second spring and summer home textile exhibition will still display a variety of household textiles, including curtains, interior decorations, bedclothes and towels, to cater for the needs of the first spring festival in China.

After the exhibition is moved to Shanghai Expo exhibition hall, 10000 buyers are expected to attend.

Many textile industry bases such as Yuhang, Haining, Shaoxing and Tongxiang gathered in Shanghai today.

There are 264 exhibitors, including 9 overseas and 255 domestic enterprises. They will bring the latest products of 2012 to the audience.

Yang Zhaohua, President of the China Home Textile Association, said: "the Spring Textile Exhibition and the autumn home textile show have the same purpose, that is, to convey the concept of" big home textiles "to the industry. We should make strategic layout at the initial stage of the exhibition and focus on effective resources. China is a potential market. What we need to do is to set up a platform and serve the enterprises in a solid way.

In a sense, the home textile exhibition in the two quarter of spring and autumn is the highest level of R & D in China's home textile industry, as well as among enterprises.
