Moodie Downgraded Bank Of America

International rating agencies Moodie On the 21 day, it lowered the bond rating of Bank of America, Citibank and Wells Fargo.


Moodie lowered the credit rating of Bank of America's long-term bonds from A2 to Baa1 by two. bond The credit rating was downgraded from P1 to P2. The credit rating of Wells Fargo's long-term bonds was downgraded from Aa3 to A1, and the credit rating of short-term bank bonds was reduced from P1 to P2. In addition, Moodie listed three banks' bond rating outlook as negative.


The agency said the main reason for downgrading the ratings of the three banks was that the government's willingness to rescue big financial institutions was much lower than that during the financial crisis.


Moodie put the ratings of the three banks on the negative watch list in June this year, warning that it is possible to take a downgrade rating in the future.
